Half day Ho Chi Minh City Tour

My wife and I are interested in doing a half day city tour of Ho Chi Minh City in February. Can anyone recommend a reliable value for money local operator? We%26#39;d like to join a group tour rather than do a private tour.

+ Visit Notre Dame church, Post Office, Presidential Palace, War Museum or HCMC museum ( I recommend this museum to my TA guests),

+ Have lunch at Quan An Ngon , near Presidential Palace,

+ Go shopping at Saigon Square or TAX shopping center.

+ Have drinks at Saigon Saigon bar of the Caravell hotel for sunset or Sky bar of the Majestic hotel for sunset, Rooftop garden of Rex hotel in the evening time.

+Enjoy dinner at Lemongrass or Pho 2000 or Pho 24.

+Taste best ice cream at Fanny or Bach Dang ice cream

As I understand it, the Open Buses are for trips between cities not within a city.

We%26#39;re booking some of our travel with Sinhcafe but they only offer a full day tour.

You can choose tour in one day to visit around Ho Chi Minh city and enjoy some delicous food, such as: ';Pho 2000';, cream in Ben Thanh market, ... I think one day tour is not expensive. Why don`t you try to book tour in http://www.vietvisiontravel.com? And if you want to visit also some beautiful and cheap areas around Ho Chi Minh city, I think that tour from Sai Gon to Cu Chi may be not good idea. You can refer to tour in web

Good advice Jason apart from the Vinasun bit - they are not to be trusted, I have had so much trouble with their drivers. Mai Linh are the best taxi company to use.

Most tourists will visit the Chu Chi Tunnels whilst in Saigon (HCMC). So if u are interested to visit it, then book with Sinh Cafe for their one day tour where the morning is spent doing the tunnel and the afternoon is spent doing the city tour.

Thanks for the responses. No need for any more - we%26#39;re back home! We did a ';group'; day tour with Asia Pacific and ended up being the only two on the trip so we were able to adjust the timings to suit ourselves, which worked our really well.
