Hi there,
We are planning to Sapa in April for 3 days and love to visit Bacha Sunday market.
We want to find out what is the best place to spend the night in Bac Ha? how can we get there and is it easy to go on our own or better to book a tour in Hanoi? if so what%26#39;s the reasonable tour cost?
We%26#39;re keen on doing a homestay in Sapa, also like trekking to further village.
Our itinerary:
N1 Night train to Laocai
D1 %26amp; N1 Sapa, trekking and do a home stay
D2 %26amp; N2 Sapa to Bac Ha, stay 1 night here
D3(Sunday) Visit market, leave for Laocai station.
N3 Night train to Hanoi
Has anyone experienced the similar itinerary? and can give advice?
Thanks.
Bacha market %26amp; Sapa tour?
Hi Jeny
Highly recommended%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;Book tour at SAPA itself for the benefit of local community.
Do not book from aboard or Hanoi%26gt;%26gt;the profit goto private and does not help the poor community residing at SAPA.
Cheers

Hi,
Sorry for being back late.
Hi Leopang: thanks for your useful advice. I really want to contribute to local community. But I think for safety reasons, I should try some other reputable companies in Hanoi they promise to do that as well.
Viactoria %26amp; khanh_vietnam: thanks for recommending me of the names %26amp; rates of the hotel %26amp; home stay, I already noted it.
It%26#39;d be better if some one can recommend a package tour at reasonable cost. Thus we we are looking for different and remote villages which has less tourist, but must be safe. (We understand we can not do it by ourselves)
Thanks %26amp; cheers.
I heard that there is a ';Love Market'; in Sapa every Saturday night.
If you leave for Bac Ha on Saturday, you will miss this. Perhaps you might consider leaving Sapa for Bac Ha on Sunday Morning, visit the market then get back to Laocai later in the afternoon to catch the train back to Hanoi.
Does any body have comments on this? Is it worth staying the night in Sapa to witness the ';Love Market';?
Hi Jenny, try to arrange your tour with: http://www.sapa-hotels.com/ they owned by Sapa Tourism Board. Very friendly, and professional, yet the cost is very reasonable. They can help you in any queries. Just book online and comunicate through email should be enough. No worry at all. If you do, I can refer a guy who help us, his name Lenh Tuc. Just contact him through the website %26#39;contact us%26#39; section. Have a nice stay at Sapa!
