We would like to travel to Sihanoukville from the Mekong region without having to travel first to Phnom Penh. How accessible is the Tinh Bien crossing near Chau Doc for people travelling with suitcases not backpacks? Is the crossing via Ha Tien a possibility? Are there hire cars/taxis on the Cambodian side of the border? Would love to hear from anyone who has travelled either of these routes.
Chau Doc to Sihanoukville
Although we haven%26#39;t done this crossing it is a well trodden path. You could arrange something in Dist 1 in Saigon to facilitate the trip to Sihanoukville.
