Can anyone recommend a hotel in old quarters with all the 4 star frills. Would like to have breakfast to overlook the view of the old quarters.

I highly reommend to you Hoa Binh palace hotel, located at 27 Hang be str, 3 Star Hotel in the middle of Hanoi Old Quarter, offering the rooms are clean with all amenities, bath with shower cabin in Deluxe room or Jacuzzi in Executive room. The 8th floor Restaurant where also ABF is served offers spectacular views over the Old City and Hoan Kiem Lake.

Beside that you can reference some others, Hanoi elegance hotel, Majestic salute hotel, Zephyr hotel.

Hanoi Old Quarter Hotels With 4 Star Rating

None of those hotels are 4* or equivalent. The closest GENUINE 4* hotels to the Old Quarter are the Melia or the Sunway.

Watch out for VNese hotel star ratings - government-run hotels tend to get a rating at least 1-star higher than they deserve, like the Majestic %26amp; Rex in HCMC which laughably have 5* ratings, when in Europe they%26#39;d be lucky to get 3*!

There IS no Majestic Hotel in Hanoi! There%26#39;s a Majestic Salute hotel, but it is only 2*.

Sofitel Metropole and Hilton Opera are next to the Old Quarter.

I recommend Hoa Binh Place hotel.

No 4* in Hanoi Old quarter. However there are a few nice 3*. Be awared, many rooms in the old quarter has no outside window. Definitely NOT Hoa Binh Palace and Majestic Salute. Rooms are small and NO character. Some rooms are very stuffy and over-used without restoration/care. Yes they have good location in the Old quarter. Maison D%26#39;Hanoi is new and good location. It is ONLY 3*. Only a few rooms with outside window (Deluxe double or Suite). Room are small but charming. Serenade is another 3*. Only book City View room or higher catergory.
