Wich train is better? Livitrans Express vs Et Pumpkin

Hi, we travel to Vietnam in May 09 and Sapa is one of our stops. We would like to know which is the better train in terms of cabin comfort. Is it true Livitrans is newer as the price is 10USD lower than Et Pumpkin for each person on the 4-berth sleeper?

Same prime mover but different carriage, similiar road(rail comfort) but slightly different furnishing from different operators.

All sum up , same train,same level of comfort but operated by different player on the same route.

Which operator did you sign up with for Sapa tour?

There%26#39;s 3 that I know of 3 where either the prices are resonable or the daily tours available, namely Et-pumpkin, SapaPathFinder and GreenSapatour.

Only sign up upon reaching Sapa so that the local can earn a decent living and extremely easy too.Plenty of ppl will contact you upon arrival at Sapa(the hotel is one of them)

If you sign up outside Sapa ,the travel just act as a postman and dump you to a local at Sapa,collect fat commission while the local at sapa get the %26#39;scrap and leftover';
