I%26#39;m planning to stay a couple of nights in ha long city (not on a junk tour) and need to co-ordinate transfers from either haiphong or hanoi (whichever is easier as I%26#39;m flying up from HCMC) then return to Hanoi city hotel.
Any suggestions or web links kindly appreciated.

I would try to contact one of the Open Tour companies like Aurora Travel, or Sinh Cafe and board one of there open tour buses to the location you want. It%26#39;s very cheap.
