Vietnam Visa Help!!!!

Does anyone know how to go about getting a 30 day Vietnamese Visa? I am from the USA and was wondering the cheapest way to get one. I read that you can buy at the border in Vietnam for a fraction of the original price instead of getting it at the consulate for $90. Is this true? Around how much did your visa cost? Thanks in advance =)!

To get one at the airport you need to get a %26#39;visa on arrival%26#39; authorisation letter from a tour operator or travel agent in Vietnam. They can usually fax/email this to you. Then you just present the letter %26amp; 2 passport photos (or they%26#39;ll take some pics of you if you don%26#39;t have any) when you arrive in VN.

Do you know how much this would cost? Also, how would I get in contact with a Vietnamese travel agent? Thank you for your replies =).

Do a search in here and you will make it.

Let alone the fix $25 ( must be cach ) stamping fee at the immigration, service fee to proceed your VOA is ranging from $8 to $15 per person. Kinda easy Adrian.

I just went to the Vietnamese Consulate page and printed the form and mailed it to them in DC. It wasn%26#39;t that expensive, but I don%26#39;t remember exactly how much, but was VERY easy and I had it back really quickly. I%26#39;d be afraid to wait until I got there because if you can%26#39;t get it, you%26#39;re kind of stuck. But that%26#39;s just me! :)

I have been to Vietnam and I recommend you the cheapest and fastest way to get visa to vietnam is getting it online. You don%26#39;t need 30 days to get visa to Vietnam. It only takes you 1 or 2 days through Internet. Just at home, fill the form at https://secure.vietnam-visa.com/apply.html then submit. That%26#39;s all. The price is reasonable. You can check it at http://www.vietnam-visa.com/pricing.html.I used this service and it%26#39;s really helpful.

You can also go to the consulate right there in SF and pay $65 for a 30 day single entry visa. You%26#39;ll pay more for multiple entries.
