im probably going to stay in district 1.. im hunting bargain shopping for - dvd%26#39;s cd%26#39;s, clothes and a couple of knick-knacks.. can anyone suggest a good market.. and the cheapest market.. thanks

I would recommend you the Ben Thanh Market -right in Dist 1 of Saigon. But remember there is no cheap markets in Vietnam if you don%26#39;t speak our language - Vietnamese. And to have a fair price, you must have a good bargain skill and of course a deep knowledge on the items you want to buy.

The tip '; pay only 50% of what the sellers ask or offer'; is sometimes not practical, as many sellers always offer 03 - 04 times higher than the real price. So be carefully !

If you go to Hoian on this trip, then Hoian is the best place for you to shop
