Criticize my Itinerary

21 day trip to (mostly) Vietnam in May/June. I%26#39;m afraid its a little ambitious and that I need to cut something. Let me know what you think:

From Hue to Hoian, you may make a choice to go on Morning Bus ( depart at 8am from hue - arrive at Hoian around noon time ) Or Afternoon bus ( Hue 1pm - Hoian 5pm )

';3-Jun Hoi An Bus to Nha Trang';

You can only take the night buses which depart at 6pm from Hoian - arrive at Nha Trang early in the next morning.

'; 5-Jun Nha Trang Fly to Siem Reip';

Please note there is no direct flight from Nha Trang to Siem Riep. So you have to flight Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh City - Siem Riep.

It looks pretty feasible to me. Personally I would miss out Nha Trang, as the beach in Hoi An is much nicer and there is more to see/do in Hoi An. Either spend longer in Hoi An/Hue, or visit Dalat or Buon Me Thuot.

I too would cut out Nha Trang and add to Hoi An.

I also think there are a limited no. of flights direct from Danang to Siem Reap which might suit your plans,

It sound very nice but you will fell very tired with this itinerary. You should stop in Hoi An and flight out from Danang.

Add 1more day in Hue( there are many tombs need to visit and the food is perfect here you should try) and 1 more day in Hoi An( you should visit Myson holy land, it is one of the world heritate site and not far from Hoi An). Cua Dai beach in Hoi An is also very nice so you can spend your time there.

You should check carefully your flight from Hanoi to Hue to make sure that you got the latest flight at 19:30. You will arrival in Hanoi around 5:00PM, it will take 40 minutes to get to Noi Bai airport from Hanoi.

It%26#39; s a good itinerary, but please rember that during that period it%26#39;s quite hot in Laos %26amp; central part of Viet Nam. That is the best time to go to Sapa and it%26#39;s also hot in Sai Gon as well. Seat-in coach from Ha Noi to Ha Long with one night over night on the Huong Hai deluxe Junks is about US$99/person - Include overnight + return bus from Ha Noi -Ha long - Ha Noi. (seat-in-coach)From central of Hanoi you take taxi to the airport about US$22/one way with four saets car to flight to Hue at 18:45. al. From Ha Noi to Sa Pa by Tulico train with sharing 4 sleepers cabin US$25/person/one way.
