where to stay?

I can get reservations for a bungalow on Phu Quoc at both Mango Bay Beach Resort and the Beach Club... I%26#39;m going strictly for R%26amp;R... Can anyone tell me which has the nicer bungalows, or any other recommendation on the two places?

Beach Club every time. Nicer rooms, nicer beach, better location for exploring the island, MUCH friendlier staff, and a restaurant that doesn%26#39;t overcharge you. Make sure you get one of the beachfront bungalows, they%26#39;re great.

Thanks, I can only get a room, turns out at BC. It sounds from some of the other postings that Beach Club is busier, though, esp if other people come to use that beach? Is it right in the middle of other hotels? All I want are good food, naps, swimming, long walks, solitude, etc.

We stayed for 6 nights back on November. Beach club is at the end of the line of resorts along the beach. It is close enough to walk to places to eat, and is pretty private. You may get people walking past but no where near as much as the %26#39;main%26#39; strip. You can also walk into town from there. Mango Bay is a fair drive out of town and though we didn%26#39;t see them, I would guess they are pretty remote.
