I stayed at Hanoi Pacific Hotel, I paid US$20 for a single room via the Internet and it was a really large nice room with a sofa, working desk. Nice bathroom and a very comfortable bed as well, nicely furnished nothing to complain at all. Also very nice restaurants in the area '; Quan An Ngon ';. Loved it one of the best hotels I ever stayed at! If you want to stay at the Pacific Hotel Hanoi I would recommend booking in advance.
