Thien Thanh Hotel Hoi An

Hi, We had planned at staying at the Thanh Xuan (Long Life) Hotel in July, but they have informed me that because of our large family group (12 people, 5 rooms) they don%26#39;t have the availability.

So, I have contacted the Thien Thanh hotel at 16 Ba Trieu Street (Just up the road from the Thanh Xuan) numerous times by email and via their website, but have had no response.

Does anyone have another hotel (and email address) that they would recommend in Hoi An that has a pool (does not have to be overly large...just wet and clean!) in a quiteish area of the old town, around about the $35/night for a double.

We stayed at Thuy Duong3 in Hoi An, not very far from Thien Thanh and in our opinion much better. They have a website but make sure it is #3 as they have a couple.

Fantastic indoor swimming pool and the full buffet breakfast is worth the money alone. We have some pics and stories of our trip and the hotel here... www.bobandjanette.com which may prove useful.

Thanks bobnjanette, I actually emailed Thuy duong3 about 1 week ago and have not heard from them either (sent another email off just now), I may have to use the phone if I don%26#39;t get any joy in the next few days. We are finding it a little more difficult getting rooms because of the size of the group.

Buianphuoc, also thanks for your imput. The Lotus is possibly a little further out than where we want to stay, but I will contact them if I struggle to find somewhere closer.

Good luck Tracey. I know it can be frustrating with email in Vietnam. We were ';walk-ins'; but they seemed to have a very efficient front counter operation.

If no joy I would consider emailing one of their sister places and ask to be booked into #3.
