Looking to share Mekopng Delta tour - Jason SSS

My wife and I are traveling to Vietnam in July. We are planning a 2 day tour of the Mekong Delta and Cu Chi tunnels with Jason SSS the tour guide ( many good things have been said of him here)

My wife and I are early 30%26#39;s.

Looking at 28 and 29 July ( yes I plan in advance)

I am hoping to bring the price down a little for us but still keeping it a small tour with 4-6 people.

Depending on the number of people the cost will be roughly $100 each plus one hotel night.

Any takers?

Mark

Hi Mark..

Unfortunately, I%26#39;m there in June, otherwise your offer would be an option to consider. Anyway, if this is your 1st time to Vietnam, and you have time to spare, you might want to do an out-of-town trip as well. And this can easily be arranged with a local tour agent when you%26#39;re there ...

1) Fly to Danang

2) Get a cab from airport to a town called HoiAn, its a nice quaint historial town (a world heritage site), check in to your hotel

3) Check with your hotel reception for the use of a driver and the cost for a daytrip to Hue. (this drive will take you through Hyvan Pass in the mountains, and through some of the most beautiful scenery in vietnam that tourists don%26#39;t normally see.

4) Hue is where all the tombs of the Kings are. There are many of them, just do the big ones like Khai Dinh .. and be prepared to be enchanted.

5) Return to HoiAn early evening.

6) Get the same driver to drive you back to Danang airport but leave early, ask him to do a couple of stops at 1) the Citadel (where the old palace is) and 2) the Cham museum (you can see lots of artworks and artefacts from the cham era).

7) Then back to HoChiMinh.

A 3 or 4 days trip is quite good.

I hope you have a great trip!

regards,

jules

Thanks for the tips Jules, we had planned on a flight to Nha Trang, then up to Hoi an, Hue and then Hanoi and Hoalong Bay, hence trying to bring down the cost of the Mekong trip.

Looking fwd to it, anyway enjoy your trip and thanks for the advice.

Mark
