Travel between HCM and PP

Hi Any suggestions for the best way to do to get from HCM to PP ? time wise flyig makes sense (but I cant find and airline other than Vietnam) but fancy going through the Mekong. I am going to do Cambodian visas on line but it still sounds like you can be scammed so again flying seems the easiest. Thanks in advance for your help.

Sorry I should have added that we have already had excellent advice from another member regarding the bus but it all comes down to time so is the boat quicker or does anyone who flys with an airline you can book on line.

Buy a tour from Sinh Cafe (sinhcafevn.com at 46-48 De Tham St.. Distict 1, HCMC) which ends up in P. Penh. This is the real sinh cafe, Beware as there are fakes,

I took this tour 2 weeks ago and gave a free hotel for one night! It is worth getting this free offer as you arrive in PP at around 7pm. The location is far from thje riverside so just check out the next day and transfer to a hotel near or along the Quay.

There are other tour operators in Dustrict 1 offering similiar tours.

I%26#39;m doing the 3 day 2 night HCMC to PP with Sinh Cafe in a couple of weeks - sounds like a great way to get between the 2 cities and only US$50 including accommodation. There is the option of a fast boat which cuts the time down to 2 1/2 days HCMC %26gt; PP.

The Cambodian eVisa web site is excellent (used it twice and no problems) and is the official Cambodian Govt web site so I can%26#39;t see any possability for a scam. I wish Vietnam had the same system ... so quick and easy to complete the form online, upload a pic and I received my pdf file visa in about 1 hour :-)

NB .... the eVisa is not valid for land crossing from Cau Doc into Cambodia so decide in advance where you will enter Cambodia and how before completing the eVisa. You will need to bring 2 x passport pics and US$25 to cover the visa cost at the Cambodian border crossing or the airport in PP.

At least Cambodia has visa on arrival so the potential for scams should be non-existent (unlike Vietnam)
