Visa on arrival - connecting flights

I%26#39;m thinking of arranging Visa on arrival for Vietnam as I live in Dublin and we don%26#39;t have a vietnam embassy here and travel next week!!

We are flying in to Hanoi from Hong Kong before connecting to Danang - which of these airports should I put as my arrival airport on the form?

Alternatively we will be in hong kong for a few days - would it be easier to pick up the visa at the Vietnam embassy there?

Can anyone help?

You can get visa on arrival at international airport such as Noi Bai, Da Nang, Tan Son Nhat (Saigon) airports.

Easy to have at Noi Bai (Hanoi) airport %26amp; you can do by yourself or travel company arrangement.

Thanks Einstein, that%26#39;s good to know but I was really wanting clarification which airport i should put as my entry airport on the form as i know the customs/ visa guards can be very strict about the details on your form - if you are transferring at the airport, do you go through the Visa section or is this not until your final destination.

You need to us Hanoi as the arrival airport, the reason is you will change from an International passanger to the Domestic passanger when you make your connection.
