Can Tho Foggy !!!

Hi there !

We are in Can Tho today. It is so strange in Can Tho today with thick foggy sky.

We wake up at 05:30 AM , start for the Cai Rang early floating market but when we arrive Ninh Kieu quay for the boat trip. We can not see anything else except for the thick fog.

This is is the first time in my 13 years guiding I have ever seen such a thick foggy morning. We miss the sunsire because there is no sun until 07:30 AM. We change our plan to see Cai Rang mainland fish %26amp; rat market first and then Cai Rang floating market to tatse fresh pineapple and back to Kim Tho hotel for buffet breakfast. The sun is coming up from the window.

We will go to Phu Sa resort for crocodile fishing

Fish and rat market!

Tha is surely interesting. Is rat a staple diet in Cantho as it seems as prominent as fish in the market?

Perhaps they should make this rat market another tourist attraction.

Upon your arrival to the mainland market, you will see local people selling different kinds of fresh water fish and then you walk a bit, you will see some other people selling fresh rat. please look at the photo under my TA account

Come there and taste it !!!

We were there, arrive 13th Feb evening from Saigon on a chartered shuttle. Checked into Kim Tho, had dinner at Hoa Su Restaurant for ';Oc Buu';. Ended the night at Windows for drinks. We went to Cai Rang floating market morning of 14th, it was still foggy, but cleared up as we arrive at Cai Rang. Left for Saigon, mid morning. Buffet breakfast at Kim Tho is OK.

Bought a bunch of tropical fruits from Cai Rang Market, low price and high quality compare to rest of VN.

Kim Tho is a nice hotel, priced right. 2nd time staying at Kim Tho, nice place.
