I%26#39;m planning for 2 days trip to Vung Tau, anyone can recommend a medium rate best hotel,between 50~80usd?

I went to VungTau and booked Lan Rung resort with travelindochine.net. I stayed in Deluxe Seaview room at 77 USD, buffet breakfast included (extra 20 usd at weekend). I enjoy this resort very much.

I also saw that Palace, Sammy hotel are also very nice hotel. Good luck

We have stayed at the Victory Hotel in January for 8 days, plus 2 other nights - for some reason this place is not much mentioned on TA, but we found it excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. our vietnamese daughter-in-law found this place for us. We had a big room and the place was kept spotlessly clean - infact they seemed to shampoo the entire hotel%26#39;s carpets at least every 3 days!!!! Added bonus is that there is a good clean pool on the roof top, which most of the time we had to ourselves. As we were in Saigon during the run up to Tet (Lunar New Year) it was fun to watch all the many wedding parties that were held at the hotel - don%26#39;t worry, these affairs do not last long, usually all done and dusted by 10pm!!

Have a look at their website - good situation, about 8 mins walk to the Cathedral, and 5 or so to the War Remnants Museum.

I would certainly go back there.

Must be going ';Bonkers'; .... !!!! Realise you are talking about Vung Tau, and there am I blabbing on about the Victory Hotel in Saigon!!!! Oh well !! just confirms that I AM going mad!!
