Do you need a travel visa to visit Vietnam?

Hi

My husband and I will be coming to Vietnam for 6 days in June. Do we need to get a visa? Can it be organised by a travel agent or do we need to organise it ourselves either before or when we arrive in Vietnam? Cheers

Hi Ms Kiwi,

Yes, need Visa, and you can get visa on arrival will be quite easy and should via travel agent

Rate often: usd 20/application letter + usd 25/custome fee (guest pay at airport) for 1 month/single entry

Good luck

Thanks for the info. I will look into it and try and get it before we go. Cheers

Easiest option in my opinion is to arrange your visa at home before you depart. Alternatively you must arrange for a letter of approval via an agent and then collect visa on arrival.

Single enty visa is the cheapest option.

We have some pics and stories of our Vietnam trip here... www.bobandjanette.com which may help.

Happy %26amp; safe travels

There is no need for visa if you stay less than 15 days. That goes for swedish citizens and most likely for anybody.

Christer - 15-day visa exemption applies only to Russia, Scandinavia %26amp; ASEAN countries. Everyone else needs a visa.

Easiest way is to contact a tour operator locally %26amp; arrange visa on arrival - doing it in your own country is a hassle, costs more, and you have to deal with VNese embassy staff who are not exactly helpful. Not if London%26#39;s anything to go by anyway!

Thanks everyone for all your helpful advice. We will organise it before we go. Cheers

Hi Kiwi07,

You can easy to get arrival visa with $10usd + $25usd( pay at the airport upon your arrival).

Very quick to get arrival visa then they will send you by email or by fax.

Cheers,

Happyman
