Hi everyone,
I am going to go to Hanoi from 1st March to 8th March 09 in a group of 4 people.
I actually have a quote for a priavte tour for 6pax and a super reasonable price but I am unfortunately unable to get enough people to go along so this trip has to be DIY.
My itinerary goes like this:
Arrive in Hanoi late.
Hanoi - Halong Bay Cruise 3D2N
Halong Bay Cruise 3D2N
Halong Bay Cruise 3D2N - Hanoi - Sapa
Sapa
Sapa - Hanoi
Hanoi
Hanoi - Home
As I would be quite late in arriving Hanoi on Day 1 and would like to go on to Halong Bay on Day 2, I would have to book my tour online.
All of the usual ones are like USD150 and above. I am just wondering, what is a reasonable price for a decent boat with aircon and includes kayaking?
I read forums, blogs and all but they all seem to be real cheap like USD70-90!
Appreciate all advice! :)
Halong Bay Cruise
Thanks! Those are all reliable agents ya?
Halong Bay Cruise
Also have a look at %26#39;Pinta junk%26#39; through Colombus Tours.
I highly recommend it!!!
Right, just check all the rate they mentioned on their website and collect one for your trip.
Just Google ';Vietnam Budget Tour'; or ';Halong Bay budget Tour';, find the right tour options for you.
Quote:
Pick up: US$ 25/ cab
Halong Bay (3 days 2 nights): US$ 95
Sapa (2 days 3 nights): US$ 99
Hanoi hotel: US$ 25/twin/night (Brf inclusive)
Cheers!
Sorry this is a bit late, but if anyone else looks at this forum it may help. Three of us went on the Pinta 2d/n cruise of Halong Bay. Recommended by our hotel, the Golden Sun, which was also very good value. There were only 5 passengers with a crew of about 10. The price was US$97/ per person, including transport from hotel in Hanoi to Halong Bay. We were finishing a month in Vietnam and this was a wonderful way to end the trip. The cruise felt like pure luxury because but might be a bit cramped if there were the full capacity of 17 passengers on board. Food was first-rate, crew was helpful, kayaking was fun. I can think of no reason to pay more for a cruise of Halong Bay, considering what you get for a reasonable price.
